Troy Bystrom
As the creator and developer of the EcoLEDGE concept. Mr. Bystrom is an entrepreneur interested in ways to create grassroots economic development benefiting the majority of residents living in a community. Recently, he created the vision behind the Hawley Silk Mill Project and attracted Lackawanna College to the $12 million dollar adaptive reuse development as the Project Executive. The Lake Region Center is the most successful of Lackawanna College's regional centers. He has also worked with an organization of seven Counties and five citizens’ groups representing millions of New York residents as a Project Manager on the New York Regional Interconnect project, Mr. Bystrom facilitated communications, legal activities, logistics, legislative initiatives and grassroots outreach on a regional level for this $2.6 million dollar project.
Prior to his current venture, Troy built a technology company providing high-end technology services, digital media, web technology, and training to corporations. The company focused on decreasing the technology related carbon footprint by leveraging software and energy efficient hardware to increase productivity, reducing data room cooling requirements, minimizing resource usage, implemented electronic recycling/reuse programs and developing corporate employee “green teams” to promote sustainability awareness.
Previous ventures include successful businesses in web site development, photography, recording industry, theatre & film, electronics repair, multimedia creation, marketing, hotel and restaurant management. Mr. Bystrom holds a degree in Technical Communications, Electronics, is a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Systems Engineer and has Fortune 500 Corporate Experience.
Denylo Branch
Co-Developer of EcoLEDGE, Mr. Branch has served Chief Operating Officer for a successful technology company specializing in sustainable technology systems. Responsible for business operations, documentation and customer relations he has worked to develop sustainable initiatives, business planning, purchasing and educating employees.
Denylo’s previous entrepreneur related business experience includes web technology, multimedia creation and editing, systems and software training, recording studio engineer/composer, coaching, music performance and sports related entertainment.
